All parts are inspected for problems, ensuring the client receive only the highest quality welds. This is achieved by following the welding engineering standards which typically include:-
- Illustrated profiles of each typical joint intended for use showing;
- The type of joint (e.g. butt, lap, tee, corner, edge)
- The type of weld
- The geometry of the preparation and fit up
- The standard welding symbol
- The range of thickness
- Minimum permissible sizes of fillet and partial penetration grove welds.
Equipment
- Computerised Orbital Welding Machines with enclosed & low profile open heads. Pipe size from 1” to 6”
- Computerised Orbital Welding machines with special open head and enclosed head for welding short radius nominal bore pipe fittings. Pipe size from 1” to 3” and ½” to 4”
- Automatic Seam Welder plasma root T.I.G. Cap 5 metre bed.
- 6 Mtr x 6 Mtr Column boom welder complete with 1300 amp Lincoln rectifier
- 3 Mtr x 3 Mtr Column boom welder
- Migatronic LDE 400 lift TIG welding plant
Machining
Radley Engineering’s in-house machining facilities insures that a quality product is produced to the client’s exact specifications. Our large scale machining equipment has the capacity of machining up to 1.5 meters in diameter.
